Nello sforzo di persuadere i lettori a comprare più libri di Bizarro Fiction per Natale, Eraserhead Press ha deciso di mettere in download gratuito gli eBook (in pdf) di cinque libri fino al giorno del ringraziamento (26 novembre 2009, per gli yankee).
Sono un regalo ideale per i bambini, soprattutto se uno vuole farsi accusare di corruzione di minore ^__^

Carlton Mellick III dice che “MachoPoni” e “The Faggiest Vampire” sono libri di Bizarro Fiction per bambini, ma non mi fiderei troppo: sarebbe come chiedere a me se una certa scena di un film è troppo spinta per un pubblico delle elementari ▼

Consiglio per i regali natalizi: se le tue amiche hanno amato i romanzi di Licia Troisi hanno proprio bisogno di questo delizioso gadget!

I libri scelti dall’editore sono i due “Bizarro Starter Kit” (orange e blue) di AA.VV., “Super Fetus” di Adam Pepper, “Ass Goblins of Auschwitz” di Cameron Pierce e “Sausagey Santa” di Carlton Mellick III.
I due Starter Kit li avevo in versione cartacea, ma come molti altri miei libri sono in giro in prestito. Ora che ho gli eBook la sensazione di possesso è maggiore di prima (e occupano meno spazio). Sono le raccolte consigliate come introduzione al genere, ma secondo me è meglio incominciare con i libri di Carlton Mellick III. Io ho iniziato con “Haunted Vagina” e lo consiglio a tutti. ^_^

These small actions really do a lot to help out independent artists. And in this era of crushing multi-national conglomerates and economic strife, we independents can use all the help we can get.

And if you don’t like the book, at least you didn’t have to pay for it.

Di solito evito di fare due post nuovi in due giorni consecutivi, ma come avete visto questa cosa andava segnalata il prima possibile. E poi dovrò fare un terzo post sabato per un’altra cosa, se avrò tempo e voglia. Mi dispiacerebbe rimandare il lulz collettivo. ^_^
